Abstract: The case is about three budding entrepreneurs, who enrolled themselves for a course on entrepreneurship at the National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (ni-msme) Hyderabad. The Livelihood Business Incubator (LBI) was approved by the Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises and was started at ni-msme to promote self-employment and give an opportunity to people to be trained for wage employment. With the help of LBI, the trio started a garment manufacturing unit called V3HUB at ni-msme. The institute provided them all the support needed to start the unit and complete the regulatory and tax requirements. As the unit was taking off, the world was hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. The ensuing lockdown impacted businesses across the country, and V3HUB was also badly affected. They faced several other challenges, not the least being one of the partners deciding to exit the venture. The two remaining entrepreneurs needed to decide on the next course of action. |
